🔁 Returns

What is Freedom Munitions' Warranty/Defect Policy?

We stand behind our products! Our ammunition is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. If you believe you've received defective ammunition or have experienced a firearm-related issue, please contact our Customer Service team within 90 days of receipt and we'll get things sorted out.

Here's how the process works:

  1. Contact us with in 90 days — our CS team will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and form.
  2. Submit your RMA and return the ammunition if requested.
  3. Our team reviews and validates your claim — this includes firearm damage claims — and we'll move forward with a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Important! Firearm Damage: If you believe our ammunition has caused damage to your firearm, immediately discontinue use of that lot of ammunition and do not use it in a second firearm. Damage claims will not be covered for any additional firearms used after an issue is identified.

This warranty does not cover ammunition that has been damaged or rendered defective due to misuse, abuse, improper storage or handling, modification, reloading, or failure to follow safe usage guidelines.

Claims submitted after 90 days may not be eligible for review.

What is the Return Policy?

We accept returns on defective ammunition (once verified through the RMA process, see Warranty info above) or incorrect items received due to a fulfillment errors.

We do not accept returns on components (bullets, brass, primers, etc.) purchased by mistake. Reloading components are not the same as loaded ammunition. Our bullets on the X-Treme pages of our site are labeled as "Not Ammo". Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

All other ammunition and component sales are final.

🧾 Product Questions

What does REMAN mean?

"Reman" refers to reloaded ammunition made from previously fired brass, reloaded to SAAMI specifications.

Is your ammo reloadable?

Yes, brass-cased ammo is typically reloadable. However, steel- or aluminum-cased ammo is not recommended for reloading.

What is the difference between Ammunition and Components?

Ammunition, often called a cartridge or round, is made up of four main parts: the bullet (the projectile), the case (which holds everything together), the primer (a small device that ignites the powder), and the powder (the propellant). When the primer is struck, it ignites the powder, creating rapidly expanding gases that separate the bullet from the case and accelerate it through the barrel. The barrel’s rifling (spiral grooves) causes the bullet to spin, improving stability and accuracy in flight. Components refers to those individual parts used to assemble a live cartridge: bullets, cases, primers and powder. Freedom Munitions and LAX Ammunition offer finished, live ammunition; while all of our reloading components are available through X-Treme Bullets.
