We take your privacy very seriously. Please read this privacy policy carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use, and share your personal information. Biometric Information

An individual's physiological, biological, or behavioral characteristics, including information about an individual's deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), that is used or is intended to be used singly or with each other or with other identifying data, to establish individual identity. Biometric information includes, but is not limited to, imagery of the iris, retina, fingerprint, face, hand, palm, vein patterns, and voice recordings, from which an identifier template, such as a faceprint, a minutiae template, or a voiceprint, can be extracted, and keystroke patterns or rhythms, gait patterns or rhythms, and sleep, health, or exercise data that contain identifying information.

Information collected may include IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, referring website or application, pages visited, links clicked, time spent on the website or application, search terms used within the services, dates and times of access, and interactions with advertisements, emails, or other digital content. Additional electronic activity information may also be collected as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and secure the services.

Geolocation data

Information collected may include approximate location derived from an IP address, and, if a mobile application is used and permission is granted, precise location data obtained through GPS or similar technologies.

This personal information is required to provide products AND/OR services to you. If you do not provide personal information we ask for, it may delay or prevent us from providing products AND/OR services to you.

 

  • How Your Personal Information is Collected. We collect most of this personal information directly from you—in person, by telephone, text or email and/or via our website. However, we may also collect information:

 

  • From publicly accessible sources (e.g., property records);
  • Directly from a third party (e.g., sanctions screening providers, credit reporting agencies, or customer due diligence providers);
  • From a third party with your consent (e.g., your bank);
  • From cookies on our website; and
  • Via our IT systems, including:

  • Automated monitoring of our websites and other technical systems, such as our computer networks and connections, CCTV and access control systems, communications systems, email and instant messaging systems.

A legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your information, so long as this is not overridden by your own rights and interests.

  • Promotional Communications. We may use your personal information to send you updates (by email, text message, telephone or post) about our products AND/OR services, including exclusive offers, promotions or new products AND/OR services.

 

We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information for promotional purposes (see above “How and why we use your personal information”). This means we do not usually need your consent to send you promotional communications. However, where consent is needed, we will ask for this consent separately and clearly.

We will always treat your personal information with the utmost respect and never sell OR share it with other organizations outside the Freedom Munitions, LLC, and its affiliates for marketing purposes.

You have the right to opt out of receiving promotional communications at any time by:

  • Who We Share Your Personal Information With. We routinely share personal information with:

  • Service providers we use to help deliver our products and/or services to you, such as payment service providers, warehouses and delivery companies;

We may also need to share some personal information with other parties, such as potential buyers of some or all of our business or during a re-structuring. We will typically anonymize information, but this may not always be possible. The recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations.

In the preceding 12 months, we have disclosed for a business purpose to one or more third parties the following categories of personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household:

  • Identifiers (e.g., a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers);

  • Where Your Personal Information is Held. Information may be held at our offices and those of our affiliates, third party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described above (see above: “Who We Share Your Personal Information with”).

  • How Long Your Personal Information Will Be Kept. We will keep your personal information while you have an account with us or while we are providing products and/or services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary:

 

  • To respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf;
  • To show that we treated you fairly; or
  • To keep records required by law.

We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of personal information. 

When it is no longer necessary to retain your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it.

Right to Deletion

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:

 

• Delete your personal information from our records; and

 

• Direct any service providers or contractors to delete your personal information from their records.

 

• Direct third parties to whom the business has sold or shared your personal information to delete your personal information unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

 

Please note that we may not delete your personal information if it is reasonably necessary to:

Right of Correction

If we maintain inaccurate personal information about you, you have the right to request us to correct that inaccurate personal information. Upon receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the inaccurate personal information.

Protection Against Retaliation

You have the right to not be retaliated against by us because you exercised any of your rights under the CCPA/CPRA. This means we cannot, among other things:

 

• Deny goods or services to you;

 

• Charge different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;

 

• Provide a different level or quality of goods or services to you; or

 

• Suggest that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

  • FOR CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS ONLY – Your rights under the Connecticut Data Protection Act (CTDPA) 

 

Residents of Connecticut have certain personal data rights under the Connecticut Data Protection Act (CTDPA) which may be exercised free of charge once per year, provided that in cases where the requests are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs of complying with the request or decline to comply with the request.

You have the right to:

 

  • Confirm whether or not we are processing your personal data and access such data.
  • Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
  • Obtain a copy of your personal data processed by us in a portable format.
  • Opt-out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising.
  • Opt-out of the sale of your personal data.
  • Opt-out of profiling performed in furtherance of solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Designate another person to server as your authorized agent to act on your behalf and opt out of processing for targeted advertising, the sale of your data, and profiling as listed above.
  • Non-discrimination or retaliation for exercising any of these rights.
  • To designate an agent to exercise your rights on your behalf.
  • We are required to respond without undue delay but within 45 days of receipt of your request. Depending on factors such as the type and complexity of the request, we may extend the time for response once for 45 additional days, as long as we notify you within the original 45 days.
  • If we decline to take action regarding your request, we must notify you without undue delay, but within 45 days of the receipt of the notice and provide information on our appeal process. We are required to provide justification and provide information on the appeal process within a reasonable time after the communication of the decision to decline.

  • FOR VIRGINIA RESIDENTS ONLY – Your Rights Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

 

Your Rights Under the VCDPA and How to Exercise Them. 

Residents of Virginia have certain personal data rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) which may be exercised free of charge up to two times per year, provided that in cases where the requests are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs of complying with the request or decline to comply with the request.
