Freedom 45 Auto utilizing a small primer to ensure 45 ACP ammo remains available. As large pistol primers became and continue to be scarce, we redesigned our 45 Auto to fit small pistol primers. With this change, there is no noticeable difference when firing in either recoil or shot placement. It is just a matter of the way the primer pocket is formed when the cases are manufactured. We continue to produce our standard 45 Auto ammunition as components are available.

Freedom Munitions 45 Auto Ammunition is loaded with our sister company X-Treme Bullets plated projectiles. Each bullet from X-Treme Bullets features an electrochemically applied copper plating over a precision swaged lead core. The base of the bullet is also fully coated in copper. The process starts with a lead bullet that is extruded into wire. The lead wire is then swaged into a core. The cores are copper plated, then re-struck once more. Though not common in the industry, this restrike process produces a bullet that is more uniform, with a more precise diameter and a smoother finish for a better shooting and aesthetics.
